Meet Leah Thomas-Walker, Founder & CEO of Kiddos On The Go
Leah Thomas-Walker is the Founder and CEO of Kiddos On The Go (KOTG), an educational support company focused on helping kiddos build confidence, strengthen academic skills, and prepare for success through personalized K-5 tutoring and test prep services.
A proud Chicago native, Leah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Elementary Education. Her background includes experience as a K-8 teacher, tutor, nanny, mentor, counselor, and daycare educator, giving her a well-rounded understanding of both academic development and the everyday needs of families.
Leah launched Kiddos On The Go in 2020 after seeing firsthand how many families needed more flexible, personalized support outside of the traditional classroom. She successfully grew KOTG in Los Angeles, California, and is now planting new roots with her family in Houston, Texas, where she is expanding the brand and serving families in the greater Houston area.
As a new mom, Leah brings an even deeper personal understanding of the trust parents place in the people and services supporting their kiddos. That perspective continues to shape KOTG’s commitment to creating dependable, encouraging, and family-centered experiences.
Today, KOTG specializes in personalized tutoring and test preparation for ISEE, STAAR, and MAP assessments, with services designed around each kiddo’s learning needs, academic goals, and confidence.
As the company continues to grow, KOTG is also preparing to launch daycare, nanny, and transportation services coming soon, creating a more complete support system for busy families.
Leah’s vision is simple: to help families feel supported while giving every kiddo access to the academic tools, encouragement, and personalized attention they need to learn, grow, and thrive.
